Tweed has a newly created a Practitioners Portal to support you in assessing whether medical marijuana is appropriate for your patients. In order to access the site, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and include your full name and College Licence or practitioner number in your request. In accordance with Health Canada advertising rules, this website is for healthcare practitioners only.
The only Forms you'll need
(completed by the physician)
The Medical Document is the only form that as a physician you are required to complete. Just like writing a prescription, filling the prescription is managed by the patient and Tweed. Tweed will assist your patient to do what is necessary to receive the product. Once you provide a complete one-page medical document to your patient, you can leave the rest to Tweed.
For your convenience, the Tweed Medical Document can be pre-filled with your information to save you time.
(completed by the patient)
Your patient completes this form and sends it to Tweed in order to become a registered Tweed customer. In order to expedite registration for your patient, it is easiest if their registration form and Medical Document arrive together, but this is optional.
Tweed and Bedrocan are pleased to offer the opportunity for Canadian patients to participate in the largest clinical cannabis research study of its kind. The study will look at all conditions and symptoms to start to map a clear relationship between cannabis and the conditions that the drug is prescribed to manage.
Participants must be over 18 years of age and have access to a computer with an Internet connection. Participation in the study requires a clinic or doctor who is registered to enroll patients. New clinics and physicians are coming online each week. If you would like to receive updates on new sites please sign up below, and if you have a doctor that is interested in participating please have them email email@example.com.
Tweed is committed to research. Working with patients across Canada we will significantly increase the quantity and quality of clinical cannabis evidence to address the needs of researchers and the healthcare community.
Medical Advisory Board
Tweed has established a Medical Advisory Board to support and provide guidance on the application of Cannabis in clinical practice.
