Win a meet-and-greet with the Doggfather
Thanks so much to all who entered by 4:20pm on July 28! The contest is now closed, and after EXTENSIVE discussion we've picked & contacted the lucky winners - stay tuned!
In Toronto on Friday? Act fast and you could meet Snoop Dogg!
Not only will the winner of our 24-Hour Strain Name Game get a chance to meet the Doggfather and take in his concert at the Molson Amphitheatre July 29, they'll also score a VIP experience at Snoop's after party.
Sponsored by Tweed, the official Merry Jane High Road Tour after-party at Sugar Daddy's in Mississauga will feature DJ Snoopadelic on the ones and twos. The lucky winner and a friend will have a chance to watch Snoop rock a stadium show alongside Wiz Khalifa and light up (likely literally) an intimate club setting of 800 souls in the same night.
We'll also be giving away three secondary (but equally tantalizing) prizes that include all the above, less the meet-and-greet. Indeed, we're sending three more pairs of people to the concert and after-party. That means you have five chances to win your way in!
So what do you have to do win? Get creative! We take strain names seriously. They stand for something. They have meaning. What if Snoop sold varieties in Canada – what would they be named? Come up with the coolest names fit for a Snoop and Tweed collaboration and you're off to meet the Doggfather.
You'll have 24-hours (give or take) to get your entries in - the contest deadline is 4:20pm on July 28. 1 comment, Tweet, or post = 1 entry. Submit as many entries as you like for the most chances to win, but make sure to come up with a new strain for each comment! If you happen to be one of the lucky winners, we will contact you Thursday with all the pertinent details.
Only the best entries will be considered and, remember, only a handful of people can win. In other words, make sure you take your time to think this through! Smoke-Tweed- everyday-like answers are not going to get you backstage!
Snoop and Wiz Khalifa’s High Road Tour, which spans 33 dates across the United States and Canada, will stop off in Toronto Friday night and we're hoping you can join us on the ride from the meet-and-greet to the concert and eventually the after-party. Meantime, we'll be drinking in some Coolaid (Snoop's new album, not the purple stuff) and waiting on your ideas. Good luck!
Here's to Future Growth!
