At Tweed we offer consistent access to a variety of cannabis strains. In the early days when we were selecting our genetics we chose Pennywise because it had all the signs of a long-term staple - it was rumoured to have very high CBD, respectable THC and some credibility amongst breeders.
We were so confident that we named it “Nova” after a timeless cut of plaid. In short, Nova had staying power before it arrived.
The first crop wasn't as potent as we'd hoped so we sold it as "Snicklefritz" and planted different genetics.
...once it’s gone, it’s staying gone.
Now that we’ve evaluated the second harvest it’s clear that it isn’t a strain we’re going to grow again. Since we have other CBD-rich strains that are producing potencies we expect, we’re breaking it off with Nova.
If you’re curious and want to try it, we do have a small batch available in the shop, but once it’s gone, it’s staying gone.
Lab results indicate that Nova is 9% THC and 3.75% CBD. We’ve milled this product and will be selling it for $6 a gram.
Here’s to Future Growth.
