Win NHL tickets with DNA Genetics
The days are starting to stretch out under a warm March sun as snow and ice melt away to a season of rejuvenation. Spring is here! Now that the cold snap has passed like a slow-rolling train, it’s time to shed some layers, find some new strains and enjoy the run-up to 2016 National Hockey League playoffs (or golf season – depending on your team of choice!).
Next week we’ll be inviting six people to join us at the Canadian Tire Centre in Kanata to watch the Ottawa Senators take on the Washington Capitals when Alexander Ovechkin and his team come to town. The kicker? You’ll get to catch the game alongside our Master Grower Tony Lacombe and Don and Aaron of DNA Genetics.
You heard right – our Dutch connection is back! In September, we announced a partnership with the world’s leading cannabis genetics company. It’s been six months since their last visit but next week DNA will be back in the house to help us with a phenotype selection process that will see hundreds of varieties narrowed down to a dozen.
The Cali-born, Netherlands-based duo will be in the Ottawa area and, again, we’re giving you a chance to meet the guys and enjoy a Sens game with the 150-time Cannabis Cup winners. It will be a great chance to ask them about celebrity smokers like Cypress Hill and Woody Harrelson, both counted among their ever-growing list of supporters.
Starting today the contest will run until March 14, with the winners being announced on the 16th of the month. We’ll be giving away three pairs of tickets to join DNA at the arena March 22 to watch the Sens take on the Capitals. That means you’ll have not one, not two, but three chances to win tickets for you and a guest!
To be entered into the contest, you’ll need to pull off all three items below:
1) Tell us your favourite cannabis-infused dish or dessert to watch a hockey game with. 2) Tell us what the best DNA strain to bake or cook into the recipe is. 3) Submit your entry in the comments section on the Tweed Vault.
Feel free to comment on any of our social media channels but remember that only entries submitted through the Tweed Vault will be accepted for the contest. Good luck!
Here’s to Future Growth (and the outside chance the Sens make the playoffs)!
